The name TÁWID speaks to inheritance, heritage, legacy, passage, and stewardship: what is received from those before us, what we carry in the present, and what we leave for those who follow.
TÁWID™ pieces are contemporary. They are not presented as reproductions of traditional cultural objects. Their significance comes from research, materials, memory, landscape, and the continuing human practice of wearing and carrying objects that hold meaning.
